The Canary Islands

Come and explore and see what you have been missing.

We've all heard of the Canaries, but where is La Gomera?

One of the smaller, more relaxed islands, La Gomera is a short ferry ride from Tenerife. With daily flights into Tenerife South from all of Europe's major airports it couldn't be much easier. A quick taxi to Los Cristianos and under an hour on either of the two ferries. Then relax!

San Sebastian is a small town situated on the East side of the island. It's not what you would imagine compared to the usual Canary resort you may have visited before. A little like stepping back in time 20 years. A small but thriving marina attracts some serious trans Atlantic sailors and in the summer a number of private Marlin boats from elsewhere in the Canary Islands.

The town itself boasts a number of hotels from the smaller functional Torre de Conde to the beautiful Parador overlooking the Marina from the top of the cliff. We can help you make a choice having stayed in most and advise what might fit your budget and needs.

Over the last few years San Sebastian has become noticeably more affluent and there are now some excellent restaurants that offer traditional Canarian food as well as more conventional European cuisine. There's also a very good Chinese restaurant! Whatever you fancy we can guide you along and help with bookings to make sure you get, hopefully the best table in the house.
